Life-sized willow zebra preserving an endangered British craft.

Investec's hospitality moment at the Chelsea Flower Show called for something iconic. Juliette Hamilton produced a life-sized willow zebra with presence and expression: a sculpture with a life beyond the event, set to appear at others to come. Willow sculpture sits on the Heritage Crafts Red List of Endangered Crafts, where 165 UK craft skills are at risk of disappearing entirely; a commission of this scale is, quietly, an act of preservation. Alongside, Monica Escobar working as Ita Lillywhite produced 200 handmade paper flowers, one for each guest to take home: a handmade object, made by an artist, given by a brand that understood the value of that gesture.
